Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker with a background in complex care and mental health to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to our participants, helping them achieve their goals and maintain an independent lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalised support to participants with complex care needs and mental health conditions.

Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

Support participants in building life skills and fostering independence.

Engage participants in community activities and social interactions.

Monitor and report on participants progress and well-being.

Collaborate with other support staff and service coordinators to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Previous experience in disability support, particularly with complex care and mental health.

Relevant qualifications in disability support with mental health.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have intermediate skills with computer applications relevant to the role.

Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to providing person-centred and directed support.

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
