· Support regulatory processes by issuing notices, maintaining accurate records of inspections (including swimming pools and Class 1 certificates of occupancy certificates), preparing evidence for legal proceedings
· Carry out proactive and reactive inspections of land where development is proposed, in progress or completed to ensure compliance with approved plans and conditions of approval, focusing on development within Council’s Urban Corridor Zones.
· Collaborate and advise by working with developers, architects, and the community to resolve compliance issues, briefing Council’s solicitors, and contributing to procedural improvements and policy development.
· Issue Section 213 notices and/or commence Section 214 proceedings pursuant to the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016
