With offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth we service vendors and motor-dealers Nationwide.

An exciting opportunity exists at our Sydney branch for a Vehicle Inspection Assistant.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vehicle Inspection Assistant to join our team, assisting the Corporate Account Manager. In this role, you will conduct multiple vehicle inspections per day. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, possesses a high level of attention to detail, and is confident assessing vehicles of all types and conditions.

The successful applicant must pose a very strong mechanical aptitude and be extremely organized.

Your daily duties will be varied but will include:

· Booking in Vehicles.

· Road Testing Vehicles with the purpose of identifying mechanical issues.

· Accurately assessing and describing vehicle condition.

· Arranging necessary repairs and/or diagnosis.

· Ensuring vehicles are prepared correctly for auction.

· Auction administration processes & logistics.

· Other duties as directed by management.

What we’re looking for

· Someone who is driven, ambitious, and possesses a very high level of attention to detail.

· Ability to learn new skills and apply yourself.

· Keen interest in cars.

· Valid NSW driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet daily job targets.

· Proficiency in using mobile apps and technology for reporting.

· Professional presentation and communication skills.

· Previous experience in automotive inspection, mechanical work, or vehicle assessment will be highly regarded.

Successful applicants will be self-starters and motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours

Full Time - Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
