Job tasks and responsibilities

Royal Life Saving has ongoing casual roles available in Training and Assessing in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, Swim Teacher, Pool Lifeguard and Bronze Medallion.

Jobs are in the Illawarra region and will require frequent travel across the Illawarra, Campbelltown and Far South Coast region.

We deliver to a wide range of people within the community ranging from school students, teachers, pool lifeguards and the general public.

Skills and experience

Essential

An enthusiastic person who is passionate about educating others

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment

Recognition and Management of Anaphylaxis Program (RAMOAP) Trainer

Ability to work both in a team environment as well as independently

Strong time management and organisational skills

Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate

NSW Working with Children Check

Willingness to deliver programs in both schools (adults & students) or community groups

Intermediate computer skills (particularly Microsoft programs)

Current Australian Drivers License

Must be available on 2025 Staff Development Days (July 21st, Oct 13th, 18th & 19th Dec)

Desirable

Experience in competency based training and assessment

Experience in the aquatics industry, sport & recreation industry or other relevant industries
