We are an automotive auction house with 60 years’ experience in the wholesale automotive sales space. With offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth we service vendors and motor-dealers Nationwide.

The Job

This position is for a casual Yard Hand.

You will start with 25-30 hours a week, Monday - Friday which may vary after a period of time.

Assisting in the daily running of the auction floor and yard.

The successful applicant should pose some mechanical aptitude and be able to work autonomously.

Duties

Your daily duties will be varied but will include:

Road Testing Vehicles with the purpose of identifying mechanical issues

Ensure vehicles are prepared correctly for photography and auction.

Photographing vehicles

Yard up keep / presentation

Assisting truck drivers for drop off and pick up of vehicles

Auction Process

In consultation with the Managers, select, allocate and lot cars, for auctions

Other duties as direction by Management

The Candidate

You will have a keen interest in cars.

You must hold a current manual drivers / probationary drivers license in an Australian state or territory. As you will frequently be driving company vehicles.
