FIFO Electricians Wanted!

RED Appointments is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused Electricians for FIFO roles supporting key underground infrastructure projects at Olympic Dam. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact upgrades that support the future of mining operations.

About the Role
You'll be working on major underground projects to support expansions to the Olympic Dam mine site

Compressed Air & Water Infrastructure Expansion

• Supporting BHP's deeper mining operations
• Electrical scope includes installing PLC panels, distribution boards, instrumentation, and actuators across multiple mine levels

Underground Substation Replacement

• Replacing aging infrastructure
• Installing cable ladder systems, cabling, power, and lighting

Most work is underground, with occasional surface-based tasks.

Key Details

• Roster: 7 days on / 7 days off
• FIFO: Ex-Adelaide to Olympic Dam
• Rate: $60/hour flat
• Environment: Underground mining confined, high-risk areas

What You'll Need

• SA Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
• White Card
• Confined Spaces certification
• Working at Heights certification
• Strong experience in industrial or mining electrical work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
