Genetics Australia is the leading artificial breeding centre and supplier of elite cattle genetics with our head office located in Bacchus Marsh servicing the Australian beef and dairy industries.

We are looking for a person with the necessary skills and experience to work in our Supply Chain team in a “hands on” role. You will be responsible for assisting with the despatch of goods and the delivery of the same in a timely manner.

We’re looking for a skilled Driver who will be responsible for the accurate and efficient delivery of our premium products to our customers and sales partners. The primary responsibility will be the delivery of our goods around Victoria, this role includes our weekly delivery runs to Gippsland and Northern Victoria.
Delivery routes will include inner city, regional and rural roads.

Expected hours of work:
Approx. 20 hours per week

Wednesday's 4:30am - 4:00pm

Thursday's 5:30am - 4:00pm

Finishing times will vary day to day depending on delivery stops, traffic conditions ect.
These hours will reduce December to March due to off peak season.

Key duties & responsibilities:

Safe handling of frozen bovine semen (training will be provided)

Delivering orders of frozen semen and merchandise to distributors

Face to face contact with key customers

Physically fit and able to load and unload heavy or bulky items

Good organisational skills and effective time management skills

Requirements

A current Australian Drivers License

Good communication skills and attention to detail

The ability to work under pressure and multitask

This position would be based out of our Bacchus Marsh head office, and ideally candidates would reside within a 30km proximity. Primary work days would be Wednesday and Thursday. There is occassional additional shifts available.
