About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable, hands-on Tyre Fitter to join our growing workshop. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and values being part of a stable, respectful team environment.

You’ll be responsible for tyre removal, fitting, balancing, and assisting in the wheel refurbishment process — contributing directly to the high-quality results our customers trust us for.

Key Responsibilities

Remove and refit tyres from alloy wheels for repair or coating

Balance wheels using digital balancing equipment

Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and safety compliance

Follow workshop procedures and maintain accurate job records

Safely handle wheels and tyres to avoid damage

Assist in wheel preparation prior to painting or machining

Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the workshop

Communicate clearly with team members and management

What We’re Looking For

Experience in tyre fitting or a similar automotive role

Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset

Physically capable of manual handling (lifting tyres/wheels)

Reliable, proactive, and keen to learn new skills

Good verbal communication skills

Two work references

Current driver's licence (manual preferred)

Bonus Skills (Desirable)

Understanding of alloy wheel construction and types of damage

Workshop or panel shop experience

Interest in automotive repairs or coatings/finishes
