About the Role

Digital Innovations Engineer is responsible for identifying, planning, designing, and implementing digital initiatives to automate, innovate, provide insights and drive improvements across Endeavour Energy and our customer base.

Key Accountabilities
  • Drive improvements in safety performance and model the organisation’s commitment to WHS.
  • Identify opportunities for process change or new technologies to streamline processes and improve decision making for stakeholders across Endeavour Energy.
  • Identify, design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery etc.
  • Develop analytics tools that utilise available data to provide insights into operational efficiency and other key business metrics.
  • Continuously maintaining knowledge of new and emerging technologies (including Digital Twins, Digital technologies, Artificial intelligence and advanced analytics) to propose and implement business improvement initiatives.
  • Drive and support the implementation of Endeavour Energy change initiatives to create a digital-native culture.
  • Establish a culture and the means for stakeholders to share best practice across the organisation and drive to implement best practice.

Safety Performance

  • Accept personal responsibility to drive improvements in safety performance by emphasising the acceptance of personal and management accountability for safety. This will include the implementation of the electrical safety rules and targeted programs to drive improvement in safety culture and performance.
  • Model the organisation's commitment to WHS by ensuring all employees are aware of their obligations, that changes to policies, procedures and work methods are effectively communicated, that adequate resources are available to undertake work in a safe manner and that WH&S issues are given priority when planning and undertaking work.
Qualifications, Certifications and Licences
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data science or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of programming and data analytics tools such as SQL, python and/or Azure analytics
  • C Vehicle licence up to 4.5 tonnes gross vehicle mass (GVM)
  • Green Card Workcover Induction for Construction Work - General Course
Skills and Experience
  • Specialised Professional: 3-10 years’ experience in a similar/professional role
