As a Heavy Rigid Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient transport of construction materials and production equipment from the onsite logistics yard to our customer’s new production facility. This position will directly support the assembly and installation phases of this major construction project.

The site is a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment where safety is the highest priority. Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded, as it will enable you to navigate the demands of the position with confidence and precision.

Qualifications:

Construction white card – Mandatory

HR Licence - Mandatory

Forklift - Desirable

Some Key Responsibilities:

Safe operation of Heavy Rigid truck and mobile plant.

Loading and Unloading of required components in preparation of safe and secure delivery to the designated areas on and active construction site.

Ensuring that materials are handled in accordance with COR and other regulatory standards.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting issues related to the delivery of items throughout the site.

Ensure that equipment used for material handling (e.g., forklifts, cranes, telehandlers etc.) are maintained in safe and functional condition.
Ensure regular equipment inspections (prestart) and report required repairs as necessary.
