Investigator College is seeking an experienced and passionate Maths Teacher to join our vibrant Secondary School team. As an important member of our teaching team, you will inspire and educate students in Years 7-9, fostering a love for learning in Mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in Mathematics aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and interdisciplinary programs.

Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance student learning experiences.

Contribute to the development of the school's STEM initiatives and extracurricular programs.

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student curiosity and critical thinking.

Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership to support student outcomes.

Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

University Qualification in Education

Valid teaching registration with the TRB of South Australia.

Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary School level.

Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and modern pedagogical approaches.

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage different learners.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Passion for fostering student curiosity and a commitment to innovative teaching practices.

The ability to teach some Secondary Science would be advantageous.

Employment Details:

Full Time (FTE 1.0) Contract starting 21st July 2025 - end of 2026 with a view to permanency.

Reports to: Head of Secondary School.
