We’re expanding! The Youth Partnership is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Host Employer Recruiter to support the growth of our successful Work Placement Program.

In this full-time role based in Sutherland (with hybrid work options), you’ll travel across South East Sydney to build connections with local employers and deliver school-based sessions.

About Us

The Youth Partnership connects high school students with meaningful work placements that help them complete their HSC VET requirements. We work with schools, industry partners, and communities to create supported opportunities for young people to thrive.

Your Role

As our new Host Employer Recruiter, you’ll play a key part in expanding our network of Host Employers and promoting our program across multiple regions. You’ll also deliver Work Placement Readiness sessions to Year 11 students in schools.

🕒 Full Time (flexible hours available)
📍 Base: Sutherland + Travel across South East Sydney (travel reimbursed fortnightly)
📄 Contract: Until end of 2025, with potential for extension
🗺 Regions covered: Sutherland Shire, St George, Inner West, CBD, Eastern Suburbs

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

Prospecting, engaging and onboarding new Host Employers

Meeting with industry partners to promote the program and conduct inductions

Delivering engaging, in-school Work Placement Readiness sessions (groups of 10–60 students)

Building long-term relationships with schools and employers

Maintaining accurate records and contact activity in CRM/database

Representing The Youth Partnership at school and community events

What You’ll Bring

Confident communicator with strong sales, networking, and public speaking skills

Ability to build rapport quickly and pitch persuasively

Professionalism and initiative – a self-starter who thrives on variety

Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (travel costs reimbursed)

Working With Children Check & Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Comfortable travelling across multiple regions in Greater Sydney
