The Greenkeeper maintains and enhances outdoor areas, ensuring sports fields, gardens, and landscapes remain healthy, safe, and visually appealing. The role involves turf management, irrigation, pest control, and seasonal upkeep to create a welcoming and sustainable environment for students, parents, and the community.

✅ YOU WILL
Maintain College sporting fields and grounds by mowing, aerating, coring, weeding and spraying turf
Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, aerators, cultivators, corers, sprayers, tractors, and attachments
Maintain and repair irrigation and drainage systems
Assist with general grounds and maintenance tasks as required
Foster strong relationships with the College community and external stakeholders
Proactively manage a risk-averse operation and foster a positive culture

Strong experience and knowledge in turf management
Technical expertise in a wide range of plant and equipment associated with sports field management
Demonstrated attention to detail and organisational skills
Dedication to integrity, reliability, sound judgement, service and risk adversity
Qualifications in Horticulture – Sports Turf Management or a relevant equivalent
Certification and licences in workplace health and safety, well regarded
Working with Children blue card
Physical fitness to work across a vibrant campus and perform manual handing tasks
