Are you an experienced and service-focused bartender with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences? Georges Mediterranean, located on the iconic King Street Wharf in Sydney, is seeking a professional and motivated individual to join our front-of-house team.

As a high-volume bar and restaurant, we pride ourselves on delivering quality food and beverage offerings in a vibrant waterfront setting. We are currently looking for a bartender who is confident, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Our venue operates lunch through dinner on weekdays, and breakfast through dinner on weekends, offering a wide range of shifts. We are committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance and can offer flexible scheduling for the right candidate. Weekend availability is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with venue standards

Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the bar area

Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times

Managing bar stock, restocking supplies, and minimising wastage

Engaging with guests professionally and making product recommendations

Collaborating effectively with the wider floor and kitchen teams

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

Previous experience in a similar bartending or beverage service role

A confident, professional, and welcoming demeanour

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to remain composed and efficient during busy service periods

A strong sense of teamwork and a commitment to high service standards

A valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol NSW) certificate
