About the role

Hawkesley Blinds & Shutters is seeking a Contractor/Casual Installer to join our team in Morisset, NSW. This is a contract position with the potential for ongoing work. As a Contractor/Casual Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of a variety of blinds, shutters, and other window coverings for residential and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently install a range of window furnishings, including blinds, shutters, and shades

Measure and assess window openings to determine the most appropriate products and installation methods

Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail throughout the installation process

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise

Ensure all work is completed within agreed timelines and to the company's quality standards

Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with new products and installation techniques

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar installation or tradesman role, preferably within the window furnishings industry

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Strong communication and customer service skills

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
