About the role

We are seeking for 2 experienced Carpenters to join our growing construction team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of various building components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our expanding business.

What you'll be doing

Reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints

Installing doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures

Performing general carpentry/Building maintenance and repairs

Work with team to deliver projects on time & within quality framework

Assist with Landscaping, retaining walls & other ancillary tasks in general building process

Collaborating with the construction team to ensure efficient and timely project completion

Adhering to safety standards and regulations on the job site

What we're looking for

Formal carpentry qualification

Must have own tools & transport

Minimum 5 years of practical experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
