We are seeking experienced and dedicated Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of technical specifications, safety standards, and effective communication with clients and team members.

This is a permanent full-time position with immediate start for right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and service air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

Diagnose and repair faults in HVAC systems efficiently to minimize downtime.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide installation and repair activities.

Creating openings by drilling holes, setting up mounting supports, and performing tasks such as cutting, shaping, and threading pipes

Assembling and servicing components including compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, gauges, and copper piping for steam, gas, refrigerants, compressed air, oil, and chilled water systems.

Securing pipes and connecting equipment through bolting, soldering, riveting, welding, and brazing, while ensuring proper alignment and precise fitting

Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian safety and environmental regulations.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.

Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC/R (e.g., Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration).

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of Australian standards and safety regulations related to HVAC/R work.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
