About the Opportunity:
As a result of our existing and confirmed future opportunities across a range of sectors, we are searching for an experienced, full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) environmental consultant to join our talented team in Perth or Bunbury.
Your role will primarily involve preparing environmental impact assessments and approvals for projects across Western Australia. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our ecology and bushfire planning teams, with the potential to support fieldwork and reporting where required. You will also have the opportunity to conduct site inspections and preliminary site walkovers, to inform the preparation of environmental assessments and approvals.
Your role will include the preparation of a range of deliverables and reports required to support approvals under both State and Commonwealth environmental legislation, ranging from environmental due diligence assessments, environmental assessment reports, clearing permits, approval strategies and EPBC referrals. In the provision of this advice, and through projects with land managers, you will also have the opportunity to identify and deliver opportunities for positive environmental outcomes. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist with client meetings and project management.

About you:

What you’ll need to fulfil the role:
A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Law, Environmental Planning or related field of study.
Between 2 and up to 5 years’ of experience in environmental assessment or management planning/approvals in a consultancy, government or industry role.
Previous experience undertaking fieldwork (desirable).
Experience in the preparation of quality technical reports.
Current C Class driver’s licence and the ability to travel if required.
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
