located in REDBANK! - We are looking for an INVENTORY TEAM MEMBER with High Reach Experience

Key Accountabilities

Health and Safety

Lead and role model a culture of zero harm through effective risk management and consultation with your team regarding all health and safety matters

Ensure your safety and the safety of those around you by complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions

Conducts and documents regular safety walks with risk identification for hazard inspections, housekeeping and Risk Assessments

Ensures individual and team safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions maintaining a “Duty of Care” obligation

Inventory

A point of contact for inventory issues across the DC.

Reporting to the Inventory Team Leader in ensuring that all inventory systems and practices are maintained and operating to an optimal level

Utilize system reports and knowledge of warehouse activities to maintain accurate inventory records

Undertakes root cause analysis and resolution of identified issues

Ensure that all inventory policies are being followed and reporting non-compliance to the Team leader

Validates inventory accuracy through the maintenance of cycle count rules and strategies maintained in WMS

Reports on inventory and service level KPIs

Working with the Bapcor Business Units to facilitate the minimization of excess and slow inventory prior to the risk of obsolescence (SLOB inventory)

DC Operations

Ensures inventory exceptions are correctly reported including new store inventory builds, supplier returns and obsolete inventory exit

Partners with DC Team Members to review operating procedures and maximize system efficiencies whilst ensuring accuracy of inventory data

Provides regular communication regarding operational issues including trouble-shooting analysis, relevant insights, and recommendations to achieve increased service performance or decreased operating expenses.

Supports the information flow and statistics that provide the WMS dashboards, reports, spreadsheets and other tools to provide ongoing analysis of the operational activities

Implements the objectives in the DC of behalf of the Supply Chain Management team
