Your part in our UnitingCare team

We are currently seeking a Case Worker to join our Women's Domestic Family Violence service on a permanent part-time basis Kingaroy. This role will be responsible for working with women and children escaping Domestic & Family violence and providing a Safe environment through Case Management.

Role 1: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (7.6 hours each) and Saturday (4 hours).

Role 2: Thursday & Friday and every other Wednesday (7.6 hours each).

What makes a difference for us?

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field

Demonstrated skills and experience in working with women and children experiencing domestic and family violence

Knowledge of practices in relation to child protection, child development, domestic and family violence and working with women and children in a culturally appropriate manner.

Interpersonal and communication frameworks and practices that are congruent with a strengths or competencies approach and a demonstrated professional integrity, with respect to such matters as confidentiality and client interests.

Demonstrated ability and willingness to work effectively within a team.

Demonstrated ability to operate within a case management framework including the ability to manage and maintain client documentation and proficiency in the use of computer systems and software.
