We’re on the lookout for an experienced Forklift Operator who’s comfortable in a busy industrial warehouse environment. This role is a mix of forklift work and manual picking/packing, so you’ll need to be confident on the forklift and just as solid on the ground. The right person will have a safety-first attitude, good attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Operating forklifts (counterbalance, high reach, and multi-directional)
  
  
• Loading and unloading trucks
  
  
• Picking and packing orders accurately
  
  
• Wrapping, strapping and labelling goods for dispatch
  
  
• Completing paperwork like consignment notes and manifests
  
  
• Receiving stock, checking for damage, and entering into SAP
  
  
• Restocking and rotating inventory
  
  
• Performing cycle counts and stocktakes
  
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
  
  
• Reporting hazards or damaged stock/equipment
  
  

What you’ll need:

• Current forklift licence – essential
  
  
• Solid experience in a warehouse or industrial environment
  
  
• Confident operating different forklift types
  
  
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and good spatial awareness
  
  
• Basic computer skills (email and stock systems like SAP)
  
  
• Good English skills (reading, writing and understanding paperwork)
  
  
• Safety-focused, reliable, and able to work well in a team
  
  

Nice to have:

• Warehousing and Logistics Certificate
  
  
• Experience handling long or awkward products (e.g. metal up to 6m)
  
  
• Familiarity with SAP and/or 5S practices
  
  
• Knowledge of metal types and finishes (e.g. aluminium, galvanised, stainless)
