About the role

DNC PROJECTS PTY LTD' is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson/ Kitchen Draftsperson to join our talented team in Wangara, WA. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality drafting and design support across a range of Construction/Joinery projects, with a particular focus on mechanical and kitchen design.

Key Responsibilities:

Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical systems, kitchens, custom bars, and structural steel designs.

Prepare working drawings for architects, builders, clients, and contractors.

Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to develop practical, high-quality design solutions.

Review designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.

Maintain and update technical documentation, including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and installation guides.

Produce shop drawings based on tender documentation and client-supplied plans for fabrication using CNC machinery or external suppliers.

Contribute to the development and refinement of internal drafting standards, templates, and processes for improved efficiency and quality.

What we're looking forAbout You:

Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).

Demonstrated experience in mechanical drafting and/or kitchen/joinery design.

Strong understanding of fabrication methods, materials, and industry regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson or Kitchen Draftsperson, preferably within the engineering or construction industry
