About the role

Goldfields Metal Roofing is looking for an experienced and skilled Roof Plumber to join our team in Ballarat, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will see you play a key role in the installation and maintenance of roofing systems for both commercial and residential properties.

What you'll be doing

Measuring, cutting, and installing metal roofing, gutters, downpipes, and other roofing components

Diagnosing and repairing issues with existing roofing systems

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, meeting relevant building codes and regulations

Liaising with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Providing excellent customer service to our clients

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in plumbing, with a focus on roof and metal work

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Roof Plumber, preferably in the commercial and residential sectors

Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent attention to detail and quality of work

Effective communication and customer service skills

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
