About the role

Gulf Western Oil is seeking a capable and experienced Driver/Store person to work out of our Bayswater, Melbourne Distribution Warehouse. The position is full time with regular overtime as required. The successful candidate will work in a small team ensuring the smooth delivery to our large customer base. Our fleet is modern and well maintained and we are offering a great package for the right person. This is great role for someone wishing to take the next step from a labour intensive role into the transport and warehousing industry.

Daily Responsibilities and tasks are as follows but not limited to...

Multi drop deliveries including bulk pump in, roll off and small packaged goods

Support warehouse team picking orders

Meet daily delivery schedules

Skills and experience

Be self-managed, driven and organised to ensure all daily targets are met

Previous warehouse experience well regarded

Knowledge of Melbourne and surrounding regional area required

Be well presented and have strong communication skills

Must be mechanically minded to operate pumping equipment for bulk deliveries.

Good work ethic, self-starter, be able to work autonomously and in a team

Valid MR License

Vic Roads Licence Printout / Police check

Forklift license well regarded

Checkable References

Must be able to carry out manual handling tasks

Must be able to speak, write and read English
