About the role
During the performance of their normal lecturing role, a Principal Lecturer provides academic leadership. This position will fulfil the role of Head of Discipline (HoD) in Nursing per the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) Enrolled Nurse Accreditation Standards 2017 - is the lead nursing academic responsible for the design and delivery of the program of study.
This position will be delivering health and nursing qualifications.
To be successful, you will have the following…
1. Significant relevant industry/ vocational or lecturing experience (At least 5 years' experience, including recent experience in a Nursing role)
2. Relevant vocational qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:
Holds relevant postgraduate qualification; and
AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse with no conditions or undertakings
It is preferred that applicants already possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or can demonstrate willingness or progression towards achieving it.
