FIFO All-Rounders

We are seeking an experienced full time (2:1) All-Rounder / Operator in the following three machines with experience operating in steep terrain:

Tracked Dozer

Tracked Excavator

Grader

Day Shift only, 12-hour days FIFO out of Perth

General responsibilities

Operate mobile plant, including Dozer, Excavator, and Grader, in steep terrain and in accordance with OEM and Safe Work Instructions to a high standard

Carry out daily equipment / vehicle pre-start inspections

Adhere to any environmental or heritage compliance plans

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Abilities

Mandatory

Minimum Australian un-restricted “C” class motor vehicle licence

Construction Induction (White/Blue card)

Qualifications (Certificates) operating Dozer, and Excavator

Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Dozer, and Excavator in steep terrain

Ability to undertake FIFO roster of 2:1

Strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards WHS

Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment

Must be drug-free and be able to pass a FMG Heavy Medical

Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one prior to mobilisation)

Desirable

Experience in mining and or construction industry, Fortescue, Rio Tinto inducted

Experience and qualified Grader Operator

Current 4WD Certificate

Previous experience working in remote locations

Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral

Current CPR Certificate
