About the role

As a Disability Support Worker at IM WITH YOU', you'll be making a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. This part-time role is based in Loganholme and Cornelia, QLD, and involves providing tailored support to help our clients lead more independent and fulfilling lives. What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community engagement events

Implementing and monitoring individual support plans to ensure clients' needs are met

Advocating for clients' rights and supporting them to achieve their goals

Maintaining detailed records and contributing to client assessments

Collaborating with the broader care team to provide holistic support

What we're looking for

A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and a commitment to empowering them

Relevant experience in the aged care or disability support sector, or a demonstrated ability to work with vulnerable individuals

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

Adaptability and problem-solving skills to respond effectively to clients' changing needs

A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team
