BBC Digital is a prominent Canon, and HP Partner , with branches across Australia, we are looking for a Field and Installation Technician, to join the growing BrisbaneTeam.

Our objective is to maintain and expand our market leadership in sales and service of copiers, printers, and software for local and national businesses, Government, and the education sector.

The main tasks of this role include but are not limited to:

Networking devices via TCP/IP.

Setup of scan to email/folder.

Installation and configuring of print drivers on PC and Mac.

Working on servers or with IT companies.

Configuring connections to cloud based software.

Demonstration to clients the device features.

Other tasks included in the job role are:

Servicing and repairing multi-function copiers, printers and other digital products in-house and in the field.

Refurbishing used equipment for resale.

Supporting and advising customers by phone.

Assisting with stock and equipment management and movements and other varied and interesting work.

We invite all applications with experience in servicing and or installing business equipment, including copiers, printers, faxes and related digital equipment.

We would like to know about your:

Previous experience working in the office equipment industry.

Technical training and course completion

IT knowledge would be preferred.

An understanding of business systems and processes, technology, and a passion for discovering and understanding the latest technology.

IT Cert 3, or IV preferred

History of and knowledge of Canon Product range.

Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines.

Understanding of printing architecture.

A demonstrated history of achieving KPI’s.
