About the role

We currently have a rare vacancy for a passionate and experienced Full - time Florist to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets to delight our customers.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Preparing and arranging fresh flowers, foliage, and other floral materials to create unique and visually appealing designs

Interacting with customers to understand their requirements and preferences, and providing expert advice and guidance

Maintaining the store's floral displays and ensuring the highest standards of presentation

Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies

Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and previous experience in a similar role you'll have/be:

Minimum 1 - 2 years experience as a Florist, with a strong understanding of floral design and composition

Certificate III in Floristry (or equivalent qualification) or by demonstrating proficiency gained through on the job training and prowess in creating high quality floral arrangements - this is an essential qualification/skill

Excellent time management skills working in a fast paced working environment

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident is essential

Be reliable, able to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail along with a keen eye for colour, texture, and balance

Superior customer service skills and the ability to work well independently and in a team

Current driver's licence
