Key Responsibilities:

• Select appropriate welding equipment and methods per project needs, including MIG and TIG welding.
• Set up and align components for welding, cut materials accurately, and operate tools such as grinders.
• Repair machinery and parts through welding, and inspect finished welds for quality.
• Operate manual and automated welding equipment and ensure compliance with specifications for defect-free work.
• Interpret blueprints, plan fabrication sequences, and assemble structural metal parts and heavy machinery.
• Resolve assembly and production issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and operate fabrication machines (rolls, shears, flame cutters).
• Stay updated with new welding technologies and work with computers as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and comply with all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder First Class.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Skilled in using welding equipment, including fabrication machines like rolls, shears, and cutters.
• Capable of working with heavy equipment and physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to address assembly and production challenges.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with computer systems for welding and fabrication processes is a plus.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
