Woods & Co Recruitment is working with a well-established, family-run hospitality business to find a hands-on Assistant Store Manager for their Oakleigh location. With a strong reputation built over two decades, this business is known for genuine service, loyal customers, and a

This is a fast-paced, on-the-ground role where you’ll be supporting the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team. You’ll be across everything from operations and compliance to people management and customer service, ensuring things run smoothly day to day. What you’ll be doing:
● Assist in managing daily FOH & BOH operations
● Lead, support, and motivate the team
● Maintain clear communication across all levels
● Ensure compliance with food safety, OH&S, and council regulations
● Oversee stock, control COGS, and assist with reporting
● Manage rosters and labour within budget
● Handle customer feedback with a professional, solutions-focused approach

What you’ll need:
● Proven experience in a hospitality leadership (QSR experience highly regarded)
● Confidence managing a team in a busy service environment
● Strong operational knowledge (labour, stock, compliance)
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
● RSA required; Food Safety Supervisor preferred
● Flexible availability including weekends and peak periods
● Ability to speak Greek highly favourable
