Dalby Allied Health is looking for another Podiatrist to join our growing team! We are seeking applicants for a 12-month contract position, full-time or part-time hours are negotiable.

We are looking for a Podiatrist who has skills & interest across a broad range of clinical areas. This is a rural generalist role, with the opportunity to grow in niche areas of practice.

Dalby Allied Health is a locally owned multi-disciplinary allied health service, that delivers supports to a variety of client groups. You will be joining our existing Podiatrist and a team of 4 physiotherapist, Diabetes Educator, Dietitian, Exercise Physiologist, OT's and Speech Pathologists, with full administrative support. There are also three supportive therapy assistants to assist in case-load management.

Your Role:

Provide quality Podiatric assessment and management of clients, across a number of clinical areas - work with paediatric, disability, aged care and chronic conditions, which will include wound cares.

Provide comprehensive lower limb biomechanical assessment and orthotic prescription services.

Work with clients across multiple funding streams, including NDIS, Aged Care, DVA, Private, Workcover and other insurance agencies.

Work closely within established local networks, to assist clients in achieving their goals. This might include working within medical facilities, with other medical professionals and local sporting groups and teams.

Conduct a 1x monthly local aged-care facility podiatry clinic.

There would be an opportunity to develop a further clinical practice stream into areas of specific interest for the right applicant.

Work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Commit to continued professional development to ensure that our Podiatry services remain up-to-date and relevant.

You will be provided with education and guidance to ensure compliance with the multiple funding streams used in private practice.

Have AHPRA registration (or eligibility for) and a Medicare Provider number.

Experience in private practice is preferred but not mandatory.
