Franchise Training Specialist
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Franchise Training Specialist – FOH to join our team. As a Franchise Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in elevating the guest experience by fostering high-performing Front-of-House (FOH) teams, including Restaurant Managers and Franchise Partners. You will ensure consistent operational excellence and uphold the company's mission, values, and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training to FOH teams, including Restaurant Managers and Franchise Partners, on company standards, guest service, food safety, and workplace health and safety (WHS).
- Embed company core values and guest service protocols (such as the "EJ Way") across all teams to create a consistent guest experience.
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including front counter operations, order processing, cleaning, and product knowledge.
- Support the development of training tools and materials, including videos, e-learning modules, and skill assessments.
- Promote and ensure adherence to food safety and WHS standards, including PPE use and hygiene practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and training on food handling to avoid contamination and safety breaches.
- Stay up to date with WHS and food safety practices and legislation.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Franchise Partners, Restaurant Managers, and the broader operations team, to ensure consistent alignment with company goals and culture.
- Engage in clear and professional communication to manage expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Ensure the highest standards of uniform and personal hygiene are maintained.

- General Responsibilities
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a training role within QSR or the restaurant industry.
- Qualifications: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred but not required, depending on experience.
- Skills & Competencies:
Expertise in restaurant operations, particularly FOH.
Strong knowledge of guest service standards, food safety, and WHS.
Ability to effectively train and coach individuals with varying learning capabilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships across the network.
