Description
In this role your will be responsible for:
* Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and 3-axis CNC lathes.
* Perform forklift operations (valid license highly regarded).
* Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Conduct quality checks at each stage of production to ensure precision and accuracy.
* Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of machinery and work spaces.
* Work on a variety of production tasks, including prototyping, jobbing, and small batch runs (10-50 components), as well as medium-volume production runs (typically 1,000-2,000 units), and occasionally complex one-off pieces.
Profile
We are seeking a motivated employee who possesses the following:

* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
* A proactive mindset with effective problem-solving abilities.
* Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the business.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Responsible, honest, and accountable work ethic.
* Relevant trade qualification and/or completion of a relevant apprenticeship.
* Experience operating manual and CNC machines, including FANUC CNC controls.
* Competency in using CAD software and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Experience machining engineering plastics (desirable).
* Ability to consistently deliver precise, high-quality finished components.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment.
* Full Australian working rights.
