About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Hiab Driver/Storeman to join our team in Wetherill Park, NSW. This full-time role combines operating a Hiab truck for material deliveries and pickups with storeman duties in our yard. Candidates with a Medium Rigid (MR) License and Vehicle Loading Crane (Hiab) Ticket (CV, for cranes over 10 metre tonnes) are preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate. You’ll play a key role in keeping our job sites running smoothly by managing materials and tools. There is a 2 tonne tipper as well.

Key Responsibilities

Hiab Truck Operation: Safely operate a Hiab truck to deliver and pick up materials to/from job sites, including fork-on/fork-off and occasional tailgate deliveries.

Yard Operations: Organize and store materials returning from job sites, maintaining an efficient inventory.

Tool Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and manage tools to ensure they are job-ready.

Material Preparation: Prepare and load materials for delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety standards, including proper use of Hiab crane equipment and compliance with WorkSafe regulations.

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

Medium Rigid (MR) License (highly desirable, manual gearbox experience a plus).

Vehicle Loading Crane (Hiab) Ticket (CV or equivalent for cranes over 10 metre tonnes, or willingness to obtain).

Experience in yard operations, warehousing, or logistics.

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with construction or trade materials (e.g., steel, timber, or building supplies).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Forklift License (advantageous but not required).

Personal Attributes:

Physically fit for manual handling and lifting (up to 25kg).

Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious.

Ability to work independently and in a team.
