About the role

Join the passionate team at Junee Community Centre Inc as a full-time Community Support Worker. In this essential role, you will provide compassionate care and support to elderly and disabled clients. Your focus will be on empowering clients to maintain their independence and quality of life through tailored in-home assistance and social engagement.

What you'll be doing

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping

Provide companionship and social support to combat loneliness and isolation

Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to coordinate holistic care

Advocate for client needs and champion their independence

Maintain detailed client records and confidentiality

Contribute to a positive team environment and continuous improvement of service delivery

What we're looking for

A genuine passion for supporting the elderly and disabled community

Previous experience in a community services or healthcare role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification

A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
