Your Impactful Role: A Day in the Life

As our Mobile Radiographer, you will:

Travel to aged-care facilities or private homes equipped with a brand-new portable X-ray unit (and a portable ultrasound unit if you’re dual-qualified) - Easily fits in your car - No need for a special van!

Perform a diverse range of examinations including chest, extremity, pelvis and more.

Communicate with empathy and clarity, ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and informed consent.

Adhere radiation safety (RANZCR, ARPANSA), infection control, and privacy legislation (QLD Radiation Health).

Document findings, exposure factors, and QA checks; promptly flag urgent results to referrers.

Collaborate seamlessly with ED Doctors, GPs, nurses and carers to ensure holistic, patient-focused care.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist (or equivalent).

A valid QLD Radiation Use License.

A minimum of 2+ years post-qualification experience as a Radiographer.

Highly Desirable: Dual qualification as a Sonographer.

Confidence with X-ray equipment and proficiency in basic IT troubleshooting (training on our equipment and systems provided).

A current open driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.

A calm, warm, and professional communication style, with the ability to work autonomously while being an engaged team player.

Willingness to obtain/provide a current Police Check and vaccinations are required by QLD Health.

Bonus: Experience in mobile radiography or aged care settings (though comprehensive training is provided for the right candidate!).
