About the Project

MESA has been selected to Operate and Maintain the mobile crushing plant and equipment at a brand new - long term project in the Northern Territory. With mobilization points from WA, Cairns, Darwin, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs, it is a project that is set to provide ongoing opportunity and enrichment to the Northern Territory for many years to come.

New camp facilities located in town complete with WIFI and network coverage are approximately 10 minutes from site making it a short commute each day while also providing opportunity to engage with the local community socially at your leisure in your own time.

Rosters are 2 on / 2 off, 12hr Day and Night shifts with FIFO and DIDO options to and from site with remuneration arranged for the latter accordingly.

MESA is an avid proponent of safety at work and as such, implements an active production and safety performance incentive scheme that rewards employees with additional wages for meeting KPI standards for production and safety performance.

Permanent project roles are available for commencement 4 June 2025 and onwards.

The Job

MESA is seeking qualified and experienced (Mobile Crusher Fitters, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Mobile Crusher Operators) to Operate and Maintain the mobile crushing plant for the project along with operation of HME for associated product handling and site maintenance activities.

Responsibilities will include regular production operations and routine preventative maintenance activities along with unscheduled maintenance and repair as required. Working with the project management team, the operations team will safely deliver production, maintenance and safety targets providing mill feed stock and maximum plant availability.

Skills & Qualifications

MESA is seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications being highly preferential:

Demonstrated experience in maintaining and repairing mobile crushing plant and HME - Required.

Formal qualifications and demonstrated experience operating wheel loaders & excavators - Preferable.

Australian recognized mechanical, electrical or instrumentation trade certificate - Required.

Experience operating mobile crushing equipment and HME in a production environment. – Preferable.

Current HR Drivers license - Preferable.

Vehicle loading crane operation ticket (HIAB etc.) - Preferable.

Dogging Ticket - Preferable.

Telehandler Ticket - Preferable.

Forklift Ticket - Preferable.

Full Australian Working Rights - Required.

Able to provide a clean Police Clearance for site access - Required.

Able to pass comprehensive medical, drug screen & fitness for work tests - Required.
