Your new role

A Parks Labourer is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of public parks and recreational areas. You will undertake a range of labouring duties, including construction and maintenance, across a suite of Asset Maintenance projects as requested by an Asset Maintenance leader, in an effective and timely manner. Key duties include mowing parks and nature strips, mulching and weeding, pruning and planting, brush cutting and hedging, spraying and removal of debris and litter.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel as a Parks Labourer, you will need:

• A valid MR (Medium Rigid) driving licence.
• A current White Card (Construction Induction Training).
• ACDC Licence (Highly Regarded)
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour.
• Experience with landscaping tools and machinery.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of park presentation.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
