We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Concrete Field Tester to join our team based in Wollongong, servicing the Illawarra, Picton and Shoalhaven areas.

What's the role about? You'll play a crucial part in testing concrete in the field.
This is an entry-level position, so we're looking for self-motivated individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you're physically fit and have a strong work ethic, you're just who we need!

- Ability to read Standards and Specifications and execute accordingly
What's in it for you? This is a 12 month fixed term contract working full-time, and yes, some weekend work is required, but you'll also accrue RDOs and overtime.
Your new role will involve:
- Performing field testing in the Illawarra, Picton & Shoalhaven areas.
- Carrying out equipment calibrations
- Conducting laboratory testing operations
- Ensuring NATA requirements are met
- Assisting the technical team
You're a great fit if you:
- Have a current Australian Driver's License (essential)
- Hold or are willing to obtain a valid Construction White Card before you start
- Have some previous experience working with concrete, such as for construction or agitator driving.
- Have a great attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Are tenacious and take ownership of your responsibilities
- Are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to achieve goals
- Have qualifications in Testing Operations and/or Laboratory Techniques (not essential)
- Exhibit excellent health and safety behaviors
- Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills (written & verbal)
- Are physically fit

All successful applicants will need to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Heidelberg Materials premises.
