About the role

Doval Constructions is seeking experienced Traffic Controllers to join our project team in Toowoomba, Queensland. As a Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for managing the safe flow of traffic around our construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.

What you'll be doing

Directing and controlling the flow of traffic around construction sites using stop/slow bats, cones, and other traffic control equipment

Monitoring and adjusting traffic control measures as needed to respond to changing conditions

Ensuring compliance with relevant traffic management plans and safety regulations

Communicating with site supervisors, subcontractors, and members of the public to coordinate traffic movements

Maintaining accurate records of traffic control activities

Providing a high level of customer service to all stakeholders

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Traffic Controller, preferably in the construction industry

Current Traffic Controller certification (TMI/White/Blue Card)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required

A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to safety
