About the role
Are you passionate about the environment and sustainability?
Bring your enthusiasm for waste minimisation, resource recovery and recycled water to the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder and join the Water, Waste & Sustainability Team. As a Business Support Officer you will provide administrative assistance and support to the Water Waste and Sustainability team.
Duties
Key responsibilities include:
- General administrative duties.
- Process and management of unit related customer requests and complaints
- Assist with the delivery of Water Waste and Sustainability initiatives, programs and projects.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, functions and events in conjunction with external bodies, internal and external stakeholders
Who we are Looking for:
To be considered for this position, you will need:
Possess good administrative, planning and organisational skills and experience.
- Passionate about the environment and sustainability and the ability to work autonomously with initiative, forward thinking and commitment to process improvement
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite of applications like Word and Excel.
- Relevant qualifications for Office Administration, Customer Service or other related discipline, or demonstrated experience in a similar role(s)
