Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Plumbing Industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Apprentice in Melbourne's Southeast.

About the company:

Our client provides a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing services tailored to meet customer needs. This role involves general domestic plumbing, as well as installation, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing and irrigation systems. You'll work across various projects with a strong focus on irrigation for nurseries and sporting fields, and the upkeep of existing plumbing infrastructure.

About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of plumbing and irrigation systems for local council projects.
• Carry out general domestic plumbing tasks, including laying pipes, installing sprinklers, and setting up water tanks.
• Support rough-in and fit-off work for hot and cold-water systems, storm water, and sewerage installations.
• Help with the replacement and installation of toilets and hot water services.
• Gain hands-on experience under the guidance of qualified plumbers.

What we're looking for:

• Punctual, reliable, and energetic with a strong work ethic
• A genuine interest in plumbing, with a desire to learn.
• A pre-apprenticeship in plumbing is highly regarded, but not essential.
• A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle, and white card
• Will need or obtain a Working with Children check.
