We are looking for a driven Workshop Technician to join and grow within our Southport team, full training provided in this position.

What You’ll Learn and Do
This is a hands-on, technical role with a strong focus on learning and development. Key responsibilities include:

Unboxing and preparing new equipment

Refurbishing used devices for resale

Installing and configuring print drivers (PC & Mac)

Networking printers (TCP/IP setup)

Setting up Scan to Email/Folder functions

Working with cloud software integrations

Assisting with IT/network configurations in collaboration with clients or their IT providers

Demonstrating device features to customers

· Performing in-house and on-site service or repairs on multifunction printers and other digital devices

· Providing phone support to clients

Assisting with stock and equipment management and movements and other varied and interesting work

What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with all levels of experience. You might have:

Previous experience working in the office equipment or any industry

Warehouse or logistics experience

Technical training and course completion

Basic IT knowledge would be preferred, but not required

A passion for discovering and understanding the latest technology

IT Cert 3, or IV if valid but not required

History of and knowledge of Canon and HP’s product range

Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills

Ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines
