About the role

We are seeking an experienced HD Mechanic to join our team at HYMECH Pty Ltd in Perth, WA. In this full-time/casual positions, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across our operations.

What you'll be doing

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty mining equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to get equipment back up and running efficiently

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and work orders

Adhere to all relevant safety policies and procedures to protect yourself and others on site

What we're looking for

heavy-duty mechanic, preferably within the mining industry

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve complex issues

Commitment to safe work practices and a proactive approach to risk management

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the wider team

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
