At Design Group, we specialize in crafting high-quality, tailored joinery solutions to enhance gaming spaces for pubs, clubs and casinos. With a strong reputation for excellence, we are expanding and seeking skilled Cabinetmakers, Shop Fitters, and Joiners to join our team at our Gold Coast factories. You will get to enjoy a mixture of factory and site based tasks, in venues from Coffs Harbour to Cairns, across to Darwin, and everywhere in between.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should possess most of the following:

· Proven experience as a Shopfitter, Cabinetmaker, Joiner, or similar trade

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

· Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude (vital)

· Experience with laminating and machine operation in a factory environment

· Knowledge of various materials (e.g., laminates, veneers)

· Experience with CNC machinery and other woodworking equipment

· Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality finishes

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently

· On-site installation experience (preferred but not essential)

· Basic knowledge of joinery hardware and fittings

· Reliability and punctuality, with a professional and tidy appearance

· Safety-conscious mindset with a strong commitment to workplace safety

· A valid driver’s license and reliable transport

· Willingness to travel for work within Queensland and interstate

· Posses, or are willing to obtain a on white card (general construction induction)
