About the role

SEQ Drilling is seeking experienced Directional Drillers/Trackers and Rig Hands to join our dynamic team in Narangba, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art drilling equipment, ensuring we deliver high-quality services to our construction clients.

What you'll be doing

Operate directional drilling rigs and associated equipment to execute complex drilling projects

Monitor and maintain drilling parameters to ensure optimal performance and safety

Interpret geological data and make informed decisions to navigate boreholes accurately

Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to maximise uptime

Collaborate with the wider project team to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions

Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to protect our workers and the surrounding community

Running of recyclers/mud systems

Assisting day to day site tasks - greasing/refueling, management of rods and tooling and other general tasks

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Directional Driller/Tracker or Rig Hand in the HDD industry

Excellent understanding of directional drilling techniques and equipment operation

Strong analytical skills to interpret geological data and make informed decisions

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Commitment to safety and environmental best practices

Relevant industry certifications and qualifications

Based in SEQ/Brisbane Area (Narangba Depot)

Minimum HR License for rig hands, HC Crash license for Drillers/trackers

Willing to live away from home as required
