About the role

JDN Tuition is seeking passionate and experienced Private In-Home Tutors to join our growing team in the Inner West and Canterbury-Bankstown areas of Sydney. This is a part-time role, offering the flexibility to create your own schedule and work from the comfort of your students' homes, as well as from your own home for online lessons.

What you'll be doing

Providing one-on-one or small group tutoring to primary and secondary school students in a range of subjects

Designing personalised lesson plans to cater to each student's unique learning needs and goals

Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to families

Collaborating with parents to ensure the tutoring program aligns with school curriculum and student expectations

Maintaining detailed records of lesson plans and student progress

What we're looking for

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a private tutor or within a tutoring organisation

Strong academic background, such as a high ATAR or a relevant degree

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents

Demonstrated passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential

Flexible schedule and the ability to travel to students' homes

Working With Children Check and relevant tutoring qualifications or certifications
