BFT Mascot
Posted 12 days ago
BFT Mascot is on the lookout for a coach who does more than count reps — someone who leads with purpose, connects with people, and brings consistent energy to the floor. If you’re someone who thrives in a team, values progress (for yourself and members), and believes in doing things well — this could be your next move.
At BFT Mascot, we’re committed to quality coaching and meaningful member experiences. We’re not about ego or burnout culture — just genuine, skillful coaching backed by a supportive and down-to-earth team.
What you’ll be doing:
Coaching structured group sessions focused on strength and conditioning
Guiding members with technique, education, encouragement, and accountability
Creating a welcoming environment for new and existing members
Being a reliable presence and role model on the gym floor
Getting involved in team catch-ups, communication, and contributing to continuous improvement
Supporting community initiatives, member challenges and retention efforts
Having confident conversations on the floor to support lead conversion and membership sales
This role is for you if:
You’ve got experience running group sessions, especially in strength or functional fitness
You’re someone who can command the room and coach the individual
You show up prepared, act professionally, and are open to feedback and learning
You take the time to learn names, immerse yourself in the community and take note of the details that build real connection
You’re after more than just casual hours — you want to be part of something meaningful
You’re a team player who’s coachable, passionate, and committed to improving
What’s in it for you?
Ongoing learning and professional development
A leadership team that’s involved, supportive and genuinely cares
Opportunities to grow with the studio as it expands
Discounts with brands like LSKD and Puma
Flexible work hours that fit around your lifestyle
The chance to be part of Australia’s fastest-growing fitness community
Complimentary BFT membership with access to 300+ studios worldwide
What you’ll need:
Cert III & IV in Fitness (minimum)
Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, midday shifts, and Saturday mornings (with availability to work between 9-20 hours per week)
A genuine passion for the BFT brand and a belief in the power of science-backed, progressive programming
Bonus points if you:
Are studying or have completed a degree in Exercise Science or similar
Bring another skill set to the table – ie. social media, sales, admin
Have trained or coached at BFT before
If you're the kind of coach who leads with purpose, lifts up those around you, and wants to be part of a high-performing, community-focused team – we’d love to hear from you.
