About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Local Courier Driver to join our team at Transit Couriers and Warehousing in North Rockhampton, Queensland. As a fulltime Local Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering flatpacks/packages and parcels to businesses and residential addresses in the local area in a timely and efficient manner.

What you'll be doing

Picking up and delivering packages and parcels to customers within the local Rockhampton and Capricorn coast areas.

Maintaining accurate records of all deliveries and collections

Ensuring the safe operation of the delivery vehicle and adherence to all traffic laws and company policies

Providing excellent customer service to our clients

Assisting with loading and unloading of the delivery vehicle as required

Communicating effectively with the operations team to ensure efficient routing and delivery

What we're looking for

A current driver's licence with a clean driving record

Experience in a courier, delivery or logistics role preferred but not essential.

Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing an excellent level of service

Excellent time management and organisational skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A good understanding of the local Rockhampton and Capricorn coast areas.
